Ballycleagh Standing Stones

Map Reference: D248334 (3248, 4334)



This pair of very large standing stones are about 5m apart. The stone nearset the laneway is 1.52m high by 1.53m wide and 77cm thick. The other stone is 1.88m high by 1.6m wide and 1.3m thick. The Preliminary Survey mentioned a third stone in the roadside fence but there is now no trace of this.
