Broughanlea Cross

This small crude cross stands about 1m high tight against the roadside fence. It has two carvings. In the centre is a well-defined crosier. Just to the right, and slightly lower, is a T-shaped carving which has been interpreted as a tau cross. This may be a later addition. The stone came from the ancient church and graveyard at Magherintemple.
