Clegnagh Passage Tomb

Map Reference: D025436 (3025, 4436)

Clegnagh Passage Tomb is a single-chambered tomb facing WNW. It has two portals less than 1m high, single side stones and drystone walling at the rear. It is topped by a thick pointed capstone. Three large basalt stones to the south of the chamber may be the remains of a circular kerb. The monument is perched at the edge of a quarry and the passage may have been removed during quarrying. Only about half the original structure remains.
