Moira Railway Station

Map Reference: J158619 (3158, 3619)

Moira Railway Station was built in 1841 for the Ulster Railway Company. From the platform it appears to be a single storey building but it has a basement level accessible from outside the station. On the opposite platform is a small passenger shelter typical of Great Northern Railway (Ireland).

The signal cabin originally stood to the south of the station beyond the level crossing but it was moved to its present site after it became disused.
