Ossian's Grave, Lubitavish

Map Reference: D213284 (3213, 4284)

Ossian's Grave, or Cloghbrack, is a court tomb standing in Lubitavish townland. There is a semicircular forecourt leading to a two-chambered burial gallery. The monument is now completely denuded of its cairn. Although it dates from the Neolithic Age it is said to be the resting place of Finn MacCool's poet-warrior son, Ossian, a notable legendary figure of the Iron Age or Early Christian Era.
