Kilmore Cathedral

At Kilmore the Cathedral of St Feidhlimidh has an inserted 12th century Romanesque doorway. It was removed from an early monastery on Trinity Island in Lough Oughter.



It is a four-order arch with chevron decoration. There are intertwined animals and interlaced ornament on the jambs.
