Map Reference: R366651 (1366, 1651)
This tower-house was built in the early 16th century by the MacMahon Family and was occupied until about 200 years ago. It occupies a great position overlooking the Fergus Estuary. It is right beside a minor road but it is in the middle of a farmyard and all access seems to be blocked. From the outside it seems to be about five storeys high with a vault over the ground floor and third floor. The first floor seems to be very overgrown and the second and third floor are missing.
