Map Reference: W997688 (1997, 0688)
This small castle stands to about two and a half storeys. It is vaulted over the ground and first floors. The south-east corner has fallen. Some stones project from the north and east walls near the corner. The tower is probably too small to be considered a dwelling.
The projecting stones suggest that it may have been attached to other structures on the north and east sides. It was probably the corner tower for a much larger structure. Nothing is known of its history but it may have been built by the Carews who held the area during the 16th and 17th centuries.
