Farragans Court Tomb

Map Reference: B777013 (1777, 4013)

This is a rectangular structure about 5m by 1m. It is divided into two chambers by a large boulder which is firmly imbedded in the ground and does not appear to be a displaced lintel or capstone. This is placed at the northern edge of the gallery and appears to be a glacial erratic which serves as a jambstone and around which the gallery was constructed. Three stones form the north side of the gallery and three form the south. At the east end a curved setting of low stones seems to form part of the court. There is little surviving cairn material.
