Kilbeg Wedge Tomb

Map Reference: G598756 (1598, 3756)

Kilbeg wedge tomb has three facade stones, about 1m high, which form the western edge of the tomb. The centre stone divides the entrance. There are two side stones at the N and four at the S but the eastern end of the tomb is concealed or destroyed. One roofing stone is still in place and there may be two other displaced stones. Some of the outer wall may be seen at the northern edge but the southern edge is hidden by a field boundary.
