Malahide Railway Station
Map Reference: O225461 (3225, 2461)
This nine-bay single-storey yellow brick railway station, was built in 1851.
It has a single-bay single-storey gabled Tudor style projecting porch at the centre.
The glazed timber canopy over the platform is supported by cast-iron columns.
The supporting brackets have GNR(I) monograms.
There is also a cast-iron pedestrian bridge, detached waiting room and detached three-bay single-storey house. This is a typical GNR(I) railway station. Similar stations can be seen at Dundalk and Lisburn.
