Temple Rushin, Holywell

Map Reference: H076397 (2076, 3397)

This small medieval church stands at the west end of a graveyard which also contains a bullaun-stone and some station stones. The bullaun is visited as part of the round of stations. The church measures about 12m by 5.5m internally. The remaining side walls stand to their original height of about 2.5m and the gables are almost complete. There are four surviving windows, two of them in the gables. There is a holy well nearby which gives the name to the site.
