Gort Crane House

This single-bay single-storey weighbridge house was built c1880. It features a wrought-iron weighing crane with two pans, as well as the usual cast-iron weighbridge platform. Beside it is a standard double-wheeled cast-iron pump. It stands in the middle of the market square which has no existing market house. This is the only reminder of former market business.
