Tralee Market House

Map Reference: Q835146 (0835, 1146)

This former market-house was built in 1847. It is a five-bay two-storey building which originally had carriageway arches at the two end bays. One of these arches is still open through the building to the rear. After its inital use as a market it became an inn and it is now used as the Rose Garden Chinese Restaurant. Much of the ornate stucco decoration belongs to the late 20th century. There is a three-storey extension at the rear.
