Clonenagh Cross-inscribed Slabs

St Fintan is reputed to have founded a monastery here in 548 but there are no visible surface traces. Within the graveyard are some early Christian slabs. Some of them are cross-shaped but most are rectangular with crosses carved in false relief or simply incised.
