Mansfieldstown Old Church, in Bawn townland, probably dates from the 15th or 16th century. There were many alterations and additions made in the 19th century. It is an undivided nave-and chancel church with a bell-cote at the west end. Parts of the traceried east window dates from the earliest phase. It has two stone masks as label-stops with a third mask at the apex. These are all of late medieval date. The tracery of the north and south windows is 19th century but the label-stop masks are probably 16th century. The memorials in the graveyard are mainly 19th century with a small number from the 18th century.
