Clare Village

This pump has the 'flag' mark of Lee, Howl & Co.,Staffordshire. It has a 2.5in barrel and water is lifted into an air vessel, in which it is stored. It may then be released via the tap. The curved handle terminates in an open loop with a tail. The pump is in good condition and may be working. It stands in a private yard near the centre of Clare Village.
