Poyntzpass, Loughadian

This pump stands just within the Co Down portion of Poyntzpass Village. This lid is now missing although it has the original handle. Pumps of this design are found all over the north of Ireland and appear to date from the middle of the 20th century. None of them has a maker's mark.
