Crosspatrick

This very fine pump was made in the Park Foundry, Waterford as indicated by the clear maker's mark, which also appears on the well cover on which the pump stands. It is very unusual to find a maker's mark on two separate items and it is a good indicator that the pump is in its original position. Hover the lid may be a replacement. The design is similar to lids produced by Kelly & Son, Kilkenny. Look at the pump in Lakyle. There is another Park Foundry pump in Windgap. It has an entirely different lid and the word manufacturers does not appear.
