This pump has a plain cylindrical shaft with two raised bands. It bears the ‘lion’ mark of Joseph Evans. The spout projects from the shaft and has foliate decoration. There is a fluted head and a fluted dome with spiked finial. The curved handle has a terminal which is more lemon-shaped than pear-shaped. The pump stands in the middle of the village at the junction of several roads.
