Hackets Cross

This pump has a cylindrical shaft with raised spiral decoration.The head is large and has a domed cap with a small dome finial. There is an ogee curved handle with a ball terminal.



The pump is inscribed Branigan Plumber Drogheda in raised lettering. A plumber named F.Branigan is buried in the old cemetery at Tullyallen between Collon and Drogheda. The address is given as Shop Street.
