Reaghstown

This pump has a plain, short shaft extending from a narrower pipe. The fluted, domed cap is now missing its finial, but resembles the cap on the Elliot Bros pump in Tallanstown. The overall appearance of the pump head is similar to some pumps produced at Park Street Foundry Dundalk, except for the spout. This has a narrow, raised band extending along either side of the spout and ending at the bucket hook. Similar decoration may be seen on the fragmentary pump at Ardee.
