Dalystown

Unlike most pumps this pump has no fluted decoration. The spout has a plain bucket hook and the lid is a plain ogee dome. The handle has a pear-shaped terminal. Just above the spout is a raised oval panel inscribed John Collins Ltd Drogheda. Collins’ name appears on many pumps, particularly in the Meath and Louth regions. It is known that he ran a plumbing business in Shop Street, Drogheda, but there is no evidence that he manufactured pumps.
