Loughlohery

This is a standard pump with a cylindrical shaft with three raised bands. There is a fluted head and spout. There is no maker’s mark. The handle and lid have been removed. The piston-rod is attached to a large superstructure which rests on two concrete pillars. This structure consists of a handle with gears to turn a crank-shaft. On the other side is a wheel which is too light to be a flywheel. It appears to be a pulley for a belt driven by a tractor or traction engine.
