Pumps of this design are common throughout Ireland. The fluted spout has a plain bucket hook. The shaft has three raised bands. An earlier photograph shows the pump with the standard fluted ogee cap with spike finial. This photo (June 2012) shows a finial like a fluted cup and ball. The handle has a pear-shaped terminal.
