Castlestrange Decorated Stone

This granite boulder is very similar to the Turoe Stone in Co Galway. It is egg-shaped and about 60cm high by 90cm wide. It is richly decorated with curvilinear designs of the La Tene style. Unlike the Turoe Stone the decoration is incised, not in relief.
