Ballygriffin Castle

Ballygriffin Castle stands to four storeys but only the south wall and portions of the east and west walls remain. The castle is covered with ivy which obscures detail. It seems to stand within the remains of a bawn with a large arched gateway at the west.



There is a small square flanker at the SW corner of the bawn but much of the detail is masked by ivy.
