Fivemiletown Butter Market

This small butter market was built in 1870. It has a five-bay central block with the middle bay breaking forward. The pediment above the archway has a date stone. Four dormer windows have been inserted in the roof-space and the building is topped by a square cupola. The two end bays are blocked by two pavilions which run forward thereby enclosing three sides of a rectangular courtyard. The gabled ends of the pavilions face the road and also contain date stones. There is a gate and railings at the open end of the courtyard.
