Lisboy Standing Stone

Map reference: H510523 (2510, 3523)



This standing stone is roughly rectangular and orientated N-S. It is about 1.5m high by 45cm wide and 40cm thick at the base. The upper half of the stone is uneven and quite thin. It thickens considerably near the base.



About 30 years ago an attempt was made to remove the stone but it was too deeply seated. Part of it may have been broken off at that time.
