Lisky Court Tomb

Map Reference: H357905 (2357, 3905)

This structure is obscured by a dense covering of trees and bushes but it can still be seen that it represents the surviving chamber of a court tomb. It consists of several large bolders, some of which have been split in antiquity. They include the backstone which is set at theeast end. Two slabs form either side of the chamber walls and a low sill-stone closes the west end. The chamber is about 3m long by 1.5m wide. The stones are, on average, less that 50cm high. A stone lying outside the chamber may be a displaced lintel.
