Threecastles Castle

Map Reference: O012156 (3012, 2156)



The castle at Threecastles is a rectangular tower-house with a projecting stair turret at the NE corner. There is evidence that there was a structure attached at the west side, where the springing of a barrel vault is visible.



There is another vault over the third floor in the existing tower. The stair to the first floor level was in the missing portion, with the higher level being reached through the stair turret.
